10 year anniversary Glasses Book giveaway!

In honor of our 10 year anniversary, I’m doing a giveaway of the Glasses book.  Glasses is my board book for young kids in glasses.  It was inspired in part by the reactions to the photo galleries on this site – I heard from so many parents that their kids were more likely to wear their glasses after seeing photos of other kids their age who also wore glasses.

Glasses has photos of babies and toddlers in glasses along with a simple rhyming text about kids and glasses.  You can read some reviews here and here and here.

  3. I remember being so lost when we first entered the world of glasses with my daughter almost 5 years ago! I went searching for help and that’s how I found this page and the fb group. I’m so glad I did as it’s been such s great source of guidance and comfort!

  23. My daughter was 3 years old when I discovered the site. I was at a complete loss on how to keep the glasses on her face and how to keep her from breaking them. We had many a pair repaired, remade and readjusted. My daughter called all the helpers at the optician’s office her “justins.” Now she is older and has strong opinions on colored frames and shapes. I absolutely love when she approaches young and new alike to compliment how fashionable their glasses are. I remember bring in tears and feeling so badly I didn’t realize her eyesight issues. But those pairs of glasses have made her confident and so very kind. Thank you.

  24. I was a crazed google maniac when we found out our 3.5 year old needed glasses. I asked a local moms group a question about glasses and was immediately told about this group. My mom was also helping me do some research and she found this group as well. Thank you for all the amazing information!
