Target’s optical shop was open yesterday, Labor Day. The husband took Sam down there to see if the glasses could be fixed. They could not. But, as luck would have it, they had the frames in stock and were able to just pop the lenses into the new frames. Since the frames were less than a year old, we were able to replace them for 50% off. Yay. And since we didn’t have to replace the lenses, it wasn’t that painful in the wallet.
If they break in the first 90 days, they will replace them for free, which is nice to know.

I came to this blog in a roundabout way. I posted on my mommy message board asking for advice about little kids and glasses, and another mom posted a link to Little Four Eyes. Ann had an invitation for other to post, so here we are!
My little one that needs glasses is Sam, and he's 2 1/2 yrs old. We noticed he was squinting at things a few months ago, but decided to just watch it and see if it was just the TV and computer or everything. His preschool teachers commented on it, too, so we decided enough watching and got him appointment. The rest I'll blog about here.

Wow, that’s about as good news as you can hope for with broken glasses. It’s nice to know that Target has decent warranties, too. Thanks for the update.
