I keep seeing lots of back to school pictures on facebook, so I thought it’d be fun to post some here. If you have a first day of school picture that you’re willing to share, send it my way and I’ll post it here.

Aw they look great!
Both of my kids (in glasses) went back to school today 🙂
I worry more with my daughter in preschool that other kids might break her glasses or want to try them on. We had a talk this morning about how her glasses are her own and no one else can wear them. I don’t know why, but we never had that conversation before.

It is great that you have these conversations with your daughter about eye care.
There are a few ways to protect your childs eyewear. 1- Flexon frames can bend and put up with a lot of damage.
2- Polycarbonate lenses are very important for eye safty. They are made out of the same materials as saftey glasses.
3- Make sure your eyecare provider has a good warranty if your child breaks their glasses. Many independants have great warranties
